Front of House Assistant job vacancy

We are looking for an experienced and out going individual to join our Front of House Team. 

CCA aims to support Scottish artists while also showcasing important international work. The organisation is committed to supporting artists who want to explore new ideas or who want to move beyond the traditional boundaries of their discipline.

The Front of House role encompasses:

• Invigilating our exhibition and performance spaces
• Guiding people on their way round exhibitions and the centre
• Examining tickets as people enter performances or screenings 
• Taking appropriate action to deal with any disturbances that may occur during visits 
• Supervising evacuation of the galleries or performance spaces
• Supporting people with disabilities, wheelchairs and hearing aids to get the most from their visit
• Answering visitor questions about exhibitions, events and the building
• Collecting feedback from gallery visitor

The successful candidate will:

• Be passionate about working in the arts
• Be confident with working with the public
• Be flexible enough to cover shifts throughout the week, daytime and evenings
• Have experience of gallery invigilation 

The post will be offered on a zero hour contract at minimum wage. A minimum of four hours can be expected when an exhibition is running.
