The Long Loch: How Do We Go On From Here?

The Long Loch: How Do We Go On From Here?

Friday 16 April - Saturday 29 May 2010

The exhibition will also be open Sundays during Glasgow International (18 & 25 April and 2 May).  There will also be two twilight openings on Thursday 22 and Thursday 29 April, to 8pm.

This discursive exhibition project explores convergences within Kate Davis and Faith Wilding's separate art practices that expand, illuminate and learn from feminist concerns and legacies in ways relevant and pertinent to ‘a present’ of Glasgow 2010, while aware of the need to think ahead.

The exhibition encompasses installations, a day-long symposium titled How We Go On Now, an archive room of ‘peculiar resources’ and reading room collaboration with Glasgow Women’s Library. The reading room will include texts, films, visual and audio works from the Read Out! Read In! Feminist Lines of Flight in Art and Politics online resource, which continues to act as a catalyst for a network of reading group discussions.
