CCA Book Fair

The last book fair of 2009 - a celebratory version of the regular event to launch 2HB Volume 5, the fifth publication in this year’s new series dedicated to creative writing in contermporary art.

Volume 5, the last issue of the publication until spring 2010, features contributions from Frances Stark, Audrey Reynolds, Rosie Cooper, Alec Finlay and Emmett Walsh.

There will be a series of events running throughout the afternoon and a special drinks reception to launch 2HB volume 5, celebrating the success of the series in its inaugural year.

With a focus on self publishing, profiling independent and experimental works, the CCA book fair is a non profit event pulling together a series of alternative and independent publishers from Scotland and further a field. Aimed at anyone interested in contemporary art, design, architecture or new ideas, participants include: Cornerhouse; Book Works, London; Black Dog Publishing; Film Video Umbrella; Transmission; Fruitmarket; Sick Happy Idle; Dot Dot Dot; Garageland; Arty; Printed Project; Aye Aye Book Depot and 20x20 magazine.

Editors Francesca Ricci and Giovanna Paternò will be at CCA during the book fair to present London based 20x20 magazine, a square platform for writing, visuals and cross-bred projects. Each issue is assembled around meta-words to be interpreted, researched and illustrated according to a loose, wide and multi-angled perspective. 20x20magazine.com
