Catherine Street

Suggested accompaniments: “some cheap white rum passed around and swigged straight from the bottle followed by a bowl of jelly sweets (preferably in the shape of worms, spaceships, policemen, children’s faces etc) is usually how I like to kick off any social occasion, but in the age of Swine Flu that may be deemed inappropriate. So I think I might just suggest the conventional wine, orange juice and crisps (cheesy flavour ideally) in order to bow to health & safety.”
