What happens when fossil fuels run out? How do communities and cultures survive?
Shot on location in Harlan County, Kentucky and the Dulais Valley of South Wales, this film documents four decades of exchange between these coal mining regions. Viewers meet laid off miners using theatre to rebuild community infrastructure, women transforming a former coal board office into an education hub, and young people striving to stay in their home communities.
