CCA closure

Closure & Events Update:

We have been in touch with Glasgow City Council. Following discussions with colleagues in Building Control, GSA has informed Glasgow City Council that it is working to a revised provisional date of 14 October. This is potentially subject to change and is dependent on both weather and the technical progress being made by the GSA contractors. Therefore, we now expect to remain closed to the public until Monday 15 October.

Unfortunately, this will mean that all events scheduled before then will move to new venues, postpone for a new date in CCA or cancel. Updates on the current state of the programme will be posted on our website - http://www.cca-glasgow.com/programme/cca-closure

We all really appreciate the tremendous ongoing support from everyone, and will keep you all posted as we have more information.

Publication Studio Glasgow, based in CCA and run in partnership with My Bookcase, Good Press Gallery, A Feral Studio and Joanna Peace, which offers an open source publishing facility, will be closed. Our Cultural Tenants - BHP Comics; Camcorder Guerrillas; Cryptic; Document Film Festival; Electron Club; LUXScotland; MAP Magazine; Paragon; Playwrights’ Studio Scotland; Scottish Ensemble; Scottish Writers’ Centre; The List; Tom McGrath Writers’ Room and University of the West of Scotland - also remain without their office space, while Saramago Cafe Bar, Aye-Aye Books and Welcome Home have all been closed since mid-June.
