The Lost Arcade
A fitting tribute to the rise and fall of video game arcades in New York City, The Lost Arcade is a touching elegy to an important figure within the gaming community. When it comes to arcades, NYC’s Chinatown Fair can only be described as legendary. Opening in 1944, once dealing as a penny game complex, the Fair rode at the crest of the wave when video arcades became popularised throughout the ‘70s and ‘80s. A bittersweet tribute to the death of an iconic space, masterfully capturing the sights, sounds and excitement of the arcade in its prime.
