Havana Glasgow Film Festival 2019

HGFF brings the vibrant films and rich culture of Havana to its twin city of Glasgow.

The 2019 festival unites screenings, discussions and workshops, focusing on two iconic Cuban filmmakers – Tomás Alea and Jorge Perugorría – whose radical films helped to shift societal attitudes. There will also be guest appearances by actor/director Mirtha Ibarra and Cuban Film Institute’s Julie Valdes.
