Kranti Lal Batti Express (Red Light Express)

Kranti (Revolution) is an NGO that empowers girls from Mumbai's red-light area to become agents of social change. In 2014, the girls wrote, directed and performed a play in dozens of theatres and festivals in India, helping to change the mindsets of thousands of people about sex workers and their children.

Lal Batti Express (Red-Light Express) is their latest play, a compilation of their extraordinary life stories and experiences. The Krantikaris (Revolutionaries) journey through their past, present and future and inspire our minds and win our hearts with their remarkable zest for life.
