Are you interested in writing about climate change? It's the most important issue facing humanity today, so it is important for writers to get involved in the debate.
Do you know that national and international bodies offer prizes, awards and residencies for anyone who can write about climate change in a way which inspires and motivates the general public?
Maybe you've tried to write about climate change and become confused and lost in the complexities of the subject. Maybe you've only ever thought about writing about climate change, but never done it.
This is a follow on workshop from the STEM Poets' event on 11 February with the chance to share the climate change poetry you were inspired to write or to come along and listen to what others produced.
STEM Poets (from Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) Eveline Pye and Colin Will, both respected poets with a STEM background, will give feedback on poems shared with the group. Depending on numbers, a limited number of poems may have to be chosen: get in quick!
