THE QUAY SESSIONS WITH RODDY HART
The Quay Sessions is BBC Radio Scotland’s weekly live music show. For one week only, Roddy Hart hosts the show from the CCA in the heart of Glasgow as part of the Celtic Connections Festival. Performing live will be The Oh Hellos, Lomond Campbell and The Deslondes.
The Oh Hellos are Texan duo Maggie and Tyler Heath. The siblings' influences range from Fleet Foxes to Sufjan Stevens and they’ll be joined on stage with their band for an electric folk-rock set.
Scot Lomond Campbell will perform music from his symphonic-folk album Black River Promise with a string ensemble. Lomond is the alter-ego of BAFTA award-winning Ziggy Campbell who’s also the regular musical sparring partner of King Creosote.
Completing the line up is The Deslondes - a five-piece band from New Orleans who’ve drawn great acclaim for their inventive take on country, soul and R&B.
Come and join Roddy Hart for night of brilliant transatlantic talent!
