BUZZCUT Festival 2023

The festival makes a home for experimental and radical performance and Live Art from across the UK, Europe and North America.

With a line-up of 28 artists and collectives showcasing performance experiments that cross the spectrum of dance, sculpture, ritual, cabaret, durational performance and sound, BUZZCUT Festival is a living space. A place for risk, for new aesthetics and practices, for collaboration and coalescence, for success and failure, for sharing and inspiring. It's a burst of creative energy you’re invited to immerse yourself in.

This year’s programme was selected with guest curators FK Alexander and SERAFINE1369.

The festival is pay-what-you-can, with events held across Tramway and the CCA.

Booking Info

Most events in the Festival are unticketed, however we strongly encourage you to register via the ticketing link so we can send you updates and further information about changes to the programme. It is also really important for us to have a sense of how many people are attending, so please do register the amount of people you expect to come.

Make sure you tick ‘Keep in touch with BUZZCUT’ when you Register, or we won't be able to email you updates!

Registering to attend does not guarantee entry to every performance. Many shows are durational (taking place over many hours so you can walk in and out) and happening at the same time, so if you don't get into one project you should be able to see the next one. Some projects are limited capacity or for one audience member at a time. These performances you will need to sign up at the Info desk at the venue on the day.

The BUZZCUT BDAY PARTY on Saturday 1st April is a separate ticket that you must book separately via our website.

BUZZCUT IS PAY WHAT YOU CAN

We have not charged ticket prices this year to keep the Festival as open access as we can. However, we encourage you to consider how much you can afford to pay to experience all the work in the festival.

We would recommend between £10-20 per day you attend the Festival, however if you cannot afford that you are still extremely welcome.

A reminder that payment is optional & will not guarantee entry into everything. Entry is dependent on capacity.

If you would prefer to just register now and consider paying money later, just type £0 when you choose your ticket.
