Catalan Short Films

Spanish & Latin American cinema mavericks CinemaAttic present a programme of award-winning short films made in Catalonia, as part of Scotland's Catalan Film Festival.

We take you to the warm landscapes of the Mediterranean coast with six superb summery films, many of them selected and awarded at IFFR Rotterdam, New York Film Festival, Festival de Cannes, Viennashorts, Curtas Vila do Conde, AFI Fest, San Sebastian or Festival de Málaga. Among the programme's highlights is also Lucía Aleñar's FORASTERA - its visual universe forms the basis for the design of this year's festival images.

Introduced by our partners and amigos from the Glasgow Short Film Festival, this is a top-notch hand-crafted selection of the best Catalan short films to open the Catalan Film Festival screenings at CCA.

Benvinguts! Welcome! Here comes the sun!
