Dance House: Sharing with Merav Israel

Dance House Creative Labs provide practical support for established and emerging artists to explore new ideas and methods, as well as artistic mentoring. These Creative Lab sessions usually finish with an informal sharing on the Friday at 4.30pm that is open to all. These gatherings provide an informal networking opportunity with kindred spirits. During their Creative Lab, some artists offer free morning class for professional dancers.

For this event, Merav Israel will develop further a solo piece and spend the time looking at some of the edges and corners that rose up in previous development stages which are still waiting for some attention. In this work Merav looks at embodiment as practice and the starting point for relationship and compositional choices in dance.
