Rebecca Birch

The Waulk Chronicles residency will lead to a film and series of performances. Rebecca will work alongside Sgioba Luaidh Inbhirchluaidh (The Inverclyde Waulking Group), researching the specifics of waulking tweed and a wider history of womens' work songs, where daily experiences are shared through gesture, conversation and song.
