Cruzando Fronteras: Stories of displacement from El Salvador

Common Ground Festival in partnership with GRAMNet presents Cruzando Fronteras: Stories of displacement from El Salvador.

The filmed play is a work of testimonial theatre based on arts intervention workshops involving three communities in El Salvador. The communities have the largest number of people who have fled the country in search of refuge or exile abroad as a result of social violence, state repression and climate emergency-related precarity.

This screening will be followed by a Q&A session, offering an opportunity for wider discussion with the audience.
