Cryptic Nights: |’saúnd| - Kian McEvoy

Sound designer, artist and musician, Kian McEvoy blurs the boundaries between what we see and what we hear, by using digital technology to subvert the associations and meanings we draw from naturally occurring sounds. Shifting between light and shade, noise and tone, |’saúnd| is a cinematic performance experience that combines field recordings and video footage with modular synth and computer generated images. This creates an immersive and engaging environment that plays with our perceptions in new and unexpected ways.
