A collage of poppies, grass seed heads and vegetation

Part of a collage by Kate Temple, 2024

Join our soft sharing of a collective publication, Cuttings: writings about seeds, grief and growth. Combining poetry, fragments and collage, the booklet was printed and bound in CCA’s Publication Studio.

Cuttings was co-created by participants in a series of writing workshops, curated by Glasgow Seed Library’s 2024 researcher-in-residence Tilly Nevin. It was inspired by our invited authors Alycia Pirmohamed, Rosa Campbell, Nina Mingya Powles and Jessica J. Lee, who led exercises and experiments in writing around plants, nature, loss and belonging.

Come meet some of the contributors and pick up a free copy!

About the series

This is the conclusion of a programme of creative workshops and reading groups, organised by Glasgow Seed Library and Tilly Nevin, supported by Scottish Graduate School for Arts and Humanities. If you’re a doctoral researcher interested in working with Glasgow Seed Library next year, keep an eye on SGSAH's website for opportunities in the Autumn.
