Please note that due to unforeseen circumstances this event has been cancelled. It is, however, replaced with a screening of Naziha Arebi's amazing documentary Freedom Fields.
Sabrina Mahfouz returns to Scotland after winning a Fringe First Award for her play Chef, for an intimate reading and Q&A at Dardishi Festival. Join us for an evening of musings on love, identity, belonging, racism and the position of Arab and North African womxn in the UK today.
Mahfouz is a British Egyptian playwright, poet and screenwriter, named 'one of the rising stars of new British playwrighting' by The Herald. Mahfouz has been the Sky Arts Academy Scholar for Poetry, Leverhulme Playwright in Residence, and Associate Artist at Bush Theatre. This event is part of Dardishi Festival.
