Ruby (Karen Gillan) and Gensen (David Dastmalchian, who is also on writing duties) live upon the fringes of abject poverty in downtown LA, when two impulsive acts thrust their lives into uncharted territory. Their tight bond is tested beyond measure as they journey through America in search of their place in the world, and what their relationship means to each of them. Collin Schiffli’s raw and visceral second feature portrays a young couple desperate to survive in a country that has abandoned them.
