GFF19 Dear Son

A father’s love for his son is tested to the limit in this subtle, compassionate drama from award-winning Hedi director Mohammed Ben Attia. Tunisian dock worker Riadh (Mohamed Drif) is married to Nazli (Mouna Mejri) and soon to retire. He only wants the best for his son Sami (Zakaria Ben Ayed) who is about to take his Baccalaureate exams. Sami is suffering from migraines and seems increasingly withdrawn and detached. A visit to a psychiatrist seems to help him but then Sami disappears. When a search of his computer reveals that he has left for Syria, Riyadh vows to find him.
