GFF19 Editing Across Genres with Colin Monie
Thu 21 February 2019
Colin Monie
Turning a huge amount of raw footage into something compelling and watchable is the art and craft of editing. Editing can change the feel and course of a film, TV drama or documentary. For many years Colin Monie (Nae Pasaran, Shetland, The Magdalene Sisters, Midnight’s Children) has worked across different genres, editing for documentary, TV drama and feature film. We are delighted to host Colin as he explores how the craft of editing and the editor’s creative input has to adapt to different genres and the challenges and opportunities that presents.
Tickets for this event are free and will only be available in person from the CCA box office, which opens half an hour before the first screening of the day in the venue.
