GFF19 Stop Motion – Life Between Frames
Sun 24 February 2019
Stop Motion Life Between Frames
Stop motion animation, whilst consistently present, has had a resurgence of late. Films like Coraline, Fantastic Mr Fox, GFF16 Closing Gala Anomalisa and GFF18 Opening Gala Isle of Dogs have propelled the art form to new levels, inspiring millions with their painstaking dedication to the craft. We are joined by Steve Warne, Andy Biddle and Michael Hughes (all animators from Isle of Dogs, and sharing credits from Fantastic Mr Fox and My Life as a Courgette amongst many others) to unveil the creative process behind this beautiful art form.
This talk will be BSL interpreted.
Tickets for this event are free and will only be available in person from the CCA box office, which opens half an hour before the first screening of the day in the venue.
