SUPERNOVA
It is a peaceful Sunday morning in a quiet Polish village. A woman has made her decision to leave her drunken husband. She has two small children and some possessions. In a few brief moments, a horrible accident will entwine the destiny of this broken family with a politician and a local policeman. Bartosz Kruhlik’s gripping debut feature is impressive in the sharp focus of the storytelling and the precise execution. He draws us into horrific events, exploring tragedy, fate and how quickly people rush to judge on the basis of limited information and personal prejudice.
Also screening on Thu 27 Feb, 6pm
