Gathering the Seed

Have you been growing this year? It’s time to gather in the seeds!

Drop in and take part in a relaxed seed-sorting event at Woodlands Community Garden. If you have seeds to deposit, bring them in, and we can process, package and label them together.

There will be wet and dry seed processing stations set up, so you can bring things like tomatoes, dried pea and bean pods or whole seed heads. We will be joined by Margaret Lear of Perthshire Seed Library, who will be on hand to answer your questions about seed-saving. And there will be tea and cake to keep us all going!

Organised by Glasgow Seed Library and Woodlands Community Development Trust. This event is free and drop-in. Donations on the day towards Woodlands Community are welcomed.

Information for Participants

We will be outdoors but under cover. Please bring some weatherproof and warm layers, to keep cosy.

The outdoor terrace is wheelchair accessible with a stair lift. If you have further access requests, please email glasgowseedlibrary@cca-glasgow.com.
