Building Plant Beds

Join Geneva Stills of Plant Grow Share to learn some basic construction techniques for building planters for small spaces.

We’ll discuss other ways of growing, including raised beds, hugelkultur and using recycled materials.

This workshop is perfect for people who’d like to learn how to turn a small outdoor space into a thriving garden for growing food. No experience necessary!

About the contributors

Geneva Sills is a grower and maker who lives and works in Glasgow.

[Plant Grow Share](https://www.plantgrowshare.co.uk/) takes donated produce from allotment and back garden growers and delivers it to community groups and food banks who really need it.

Glasgow Seed School is a season of free workshops, talks and events. It aims to nurture seed stewardship and help growers build climate, food and community resilience. It is organised by Glasgow Seed Library, in collaboration with friends and partners across the city.
