Homemade Herbal Remedies
Ever wondered how to make use of the plants around us? Join a workshop in making herbal remedies with Nadia Maloney of Zennistoun Hub.
With Nadia’s guidance, we will learn about some different herbs, their properties and how we can make them easily at home with things we have on our window sills and in our gardens, as well as growing wild outside.
During the workshop, we will make some dry and wet remedies which can help with anxiety and make sleeping easier. With the leftovers, we’ll make tea to drink and discuss ideas and questions at the end of the workshop.
This workshop is perfect for anyone thinking about using herbs for their medicinal properties and will demonstrate how complementary therapies can be made at home, cost very little, and be accessible to all.
Accessibility
This event is free but ticketed. Places are limited to maintain social distancing. Please only book if you intend to attend the workshop.
The workshop will take place outdoors on uneven ground. We are developing wheelchair access to the site, but this is currently limited. If you would like further details, or have other access requests, please email glasgowseedlibrary@cca-glasgow.com.
