Glasgow Zine Fest Curating Anti-Racism: Zine Workshop
Sun 19 April 2020
Curating Anti Racism
The first part of this workshop will be formed around a discussion led by artist Natasha Ruwona regarding anti-colonial and decolonial practices regarding curation and art-making.
Through studying the work already completed by other artists, authors and institutions, participants will be invited to contribute a page (or more!) to a zine about anti-colonial methods which will then be distributed publicly.
The workshops asks the question of how, and if, the arts can be truly decolonial, and which methods that we as individuals and collectively can create to achieve best practice.
