GSFF19 | Accents: Influences

Prior to the premiere of his new film/score Accents, taking place the following day at Royal Concert Hall, Glasgow’s UNESCO City of Music artist-in-residence Richy Carey presents a programme of artist films that speak to some of the themes in the work. Variously exploring ideas of place, voice and identity, collective performance, indeterminacy and instruction scores, as well as the relationship between image, sound and text, the programme includes works by Kathryn Elkin, Beatrice Gibson, Mikhail Karikis, Peter Rose and John Smith.
