GZF19 Fiercely Independent and Queer!

Sat 20 April 2019

Fiercely independent and queer

Charlotte and Fi from Cathegory Is Books will talk about their experiences opening a queer bookshop in Glasgow’s south side - and why they care about independent queer spaces, representation and visibility.

Access

Glasgow Zine Fest operates a policy of tolerance, inclusion and accessibility - any participants or guests of the festival are asked to follow this policy. Anyone acting antithetically to our ethos and policies will be asked to leave.

If you are made to feel uncomfortable at any point during your visit to Glasgow Zine Fest, there will be staff on hand to answer any questions or address any issues.

Talks and panel discussions will have BSL interpretation. BSL is available for workshops upon request via glasgowzinefest@gmail.com. Please let us know before 1 April 2019.

Tickets

For Glasgow Zine Fest events, we use a sliding scale ticketing system for all programming unless otherwise stated. You can choose to pay £2/4/6/8/10 + £1 booking fee for all events, workshops and talks that require tickets.

Please be honest with yourself and your financial situation. If you purchase a ticket at the lowest end of the scale when you could afford the higher ticket prices, it makes it harder for us to provide financial flexibility to those who need it.
