John Byrne
This exhibition of Paisley born artist John Byrne's work followed his commission by Glasgow City to produce a mural which adorned the "gable-end" (the name for a section of wall located at the end of a pitched roof) of a tenement on Crawford Street in Partick.
The exhibition featured a mix of his work at the time, including a portrait of Billy Connolly along with "Kingarocknroll" one of Byrne's series of paintings playing with the aesthetics of Americana and depicting rock and roll musicians.
