After the Ice, the Deluge
Artist, writer, and educator Linda Stupart screens their new experimental moving image work.
After the Ice, the Deluge, a mostly diptych film which consists of both Linda’s performance as well as their research in the Arctic. The work also makes use of degraded film to enhance its theme of traumatised bodies and climate change. The screening will be followed by a discussion with Linda Stupart about their work and the way it engages with queer theory and environmental crises.
In partnership with LUX Scotland, a non-profit agency dedicated to supporting, developing, and promoting artists’ moving image practices in Scotland.
