CANCELLED Moving Memories A Celebration of Working Life in Glasgow

Loop Theatre returns for more movement, mindfulness and mischief as we celebrate memories of the working lives of Glasgow's older citizens.

From machinists and milk testers to printmakers and sausage factory workers, Loop Theatre's integrated cast of performers have collected embodied memories of the everyday actions and movements that were part of working life for many Glaswegians bringing you an inclusive performance honouring this vital heritage.

We first performed Moving Memories at CCA in 2019. Since then we have had the pleasure of continuing our work with residents of Beallach House Dementia Day Centre to share our performance, practice and a few jokes. Working in collaboration with Beallach House our participants and facilitators explored the movements and memories that inspired the performance.
