Nurturing The Wee Seeds of Inspiration - Deconstructing Writing Prompts

This hybrid workshop will teach you how to skilfully use writing prompts and included them an essential part of your practice.

Prompts are perfect, low-stakes writing wanderings where you can take risks, explore new directions, voices, styles, and techniques.

Together, we will listen to and develop your specific procedure when working with prompts while refreshing your approach with new techniques and how to carry this flow and freedom to your other work.

We will also delve into the opposite side by assembling our writing prompts to help us better identify what storytelling elements we seek when creating and writing.

In the second half of our session, you will apply what we have learned using the SWC's 'Fankled Writing Prompts' in a timed exercise.
