Tents in Rafah

To mark World Refugee Day, Common Ground Festival is delighted to welcome and host BADIL, a Palestinian human rights organisation based in Bethlehem, Palestine. BADIL will present in-depth analysis on Palestinian refugees and internally displaced persons in relation to Israel’s system of domination, and outline its own rights-based approach of decolonisation.

All of the money raised through ticket sales of this event will go directly to BADIL Resource Center for Palestinian Residency and Refugee Rights.

BADIL

BADIL is dedicated to promoting and defending the rights of Palestinian refugees and internally displaced persons. Their discussion will chart Israel’s three pillars of domination- forced displacement and transfer, colonisation and apartheid- as well as expanding on the ongoing Israeli genocide in the Gaza Strip and the escalation of suppression across Palestine.
