Publication Studio Glasgow Equipment Induction

Publication Studio (founded in 2009 in Portland, Oregon) is an international network of sibling studios, with a presence in thirteen cities including New York, London, Rotterdam and now Glasgow. Publication Studio prints and binds books one at a time on-demand, creating original work with artists and writers they admire. They attend to the social life of the book. A laboratory for publication in its fullest sense - not just the production of books, but the production of a public. Together these construct a space of conversation which beckons a public into being.

As part of The House that Heals the Soul, CCA, along with partners My Bookcase, Good Press Gallery, A Feral Studio & artist Joanna Peace, are running free inductions on using the Publication Studio Glasgow facilities, enabling any member of the public to design, print and bind their own book induction.

Inductions last 1 hour. If you would like to book an induction please also have a publishing project in mind to discuss with us on the day. You do not need to bring anything along on the day, all materials will be provided (for induction only).

PS Glasgow open-source facilities:
Apart from our perfect binding machine DUPLO DB-200, PS Glasgow facilities include: room with a table to work, A3 guillotine (Ideal 3905), bone folders, stamps, rulers, pen markers and other hardware. You can also print A4 and A3 in colour and B&W.
