Rebel Tango

Rebel Tango returns to the CCA Courtyard, offering anti-capitalist, feminist, queer tango classes for all.

Queer tango means anyone can lead and anyone can follow. We'll teach you to do both, so you can dance with everybody. We swap partners throughout the class, so you don't need to bring one with you.

We'll be running a course, designed for people who are new to tango, who'd like to spend five weeks learning the basics of this beautiful, intimate, improvised, social dance. Numbers will be limited, so please contact us in advance to book a place. These classes will start at 6.30pm every Tuesday and run until 22nd August.

Even if you don't want to commit to the course, you're welcome to drop in (no booking required!) at 7.45pm for a short taster class instead. This will be suitable for complete beginners.

We want everyone to be able to afford to learn to dance, so operate a sliding scale.
