Open to BPOC only.
Tangible things are fast disappearing. Information that was once stored on paper is now stored digitally. The push and pull between paper, and its reassuring qualities is heightened in our increasingly transient society."
- Savinder Bual, 9 Notes
In this workshop, we will use conductive ink to make an interactive zine that takes the digital memories from our phones and places them into the world around us, through paper, projections and sound.
About the facilitator:
I'm Lil! I moved to Glasgow in November 2022. I live for building creative projects with other people. Weaving threads of connection is my jam. I've been doing this through a pretty fluid of publishing that mixes workshops, print and audio, all via my indie press, No Bindings. When I'm not doing that, I work at Glasgow Women's Library facilitating the Readers of Colour sessions amongst other programmes and activities!
