Flemings Lemons
Flemings Lemons is a participatory-installation, staged as a shop which exclusively stocks a fantasy lemonade elixir infused with PrEP: a product that illustrates contemporary attitudes to consumption and protection.
The exhibition compares the lives of Gaëtan Dugas, mistakenly known as 'Patient Zero'; and Daryll Rowe, arrested for intentionally transmitting the HIV virus to others, and discusses predatory sexual behaviour in the queer community.
On Sunday 15 March, there will be a panel discussion between Ross Fleming and artist Joseph Cotgrave, chaired by Gwen Dupré, on the topic of the exhibition and related themes.
