A year ago, Glasgow writer/musician Martin Chomsky set about the daunting task of downsizing Robert Tressell's classic The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists into a graphic novel in order to bring the story and its important message to younger readers.
On Wed 23 April 23 The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists will be 100 years old. Come and celebrate this special centenary at the launch.
Martin Chomsky will be in attendance to outline his involvement with the project and sign special centenary editions of the book. There will be readings from cast members of the forthcoming audio book and also in attendance will be actor/directors Davie McKay, Peter Mullan and Tam Dean Burn.
