Sensual Cuban Rhythms with Anneta La Rusa
Tue 9 July 2024
Anneta La Rusa
Step into the vibrant world of Cuban dance with a workshop that blends Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, and more. Designed for beginner and experienced dancers alike, this class focuses on activating your dance skills through technique drills, isolations, and hip movements, celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Cuban rhythms.
Anneta's journey began in Russia with training in gymnastics, synchronized swimming, and Latin dance, igniting a lifelong passion for the arts. With extensive experience in stage and screen performances, including theatre productions, Salsa Dance Festivals, and film projects like No Time to Die she has embraced various dance styles, including Contemporary, Afro, Ballet, and Cuban dance. Her love for Cuban culture led her to establish Studio Ile Ache in Glasgow, where she promotes dance, art, and culture in Scotland. As a professional dancer and Cuban Salsa enthusiast, Anneta is excited to share her passion for Cuban dance with you.
This movement session is open level for black people and people of colour who identify as women and/or non-binary.
