Are you a queer filmmaker and have a script you’d like feedback on? Do you enjoy talking about script writing or would like to learn more about it? Are you a queer actor looking for local film projects to take part in?

Come join us for the Queer Filmmakers Group script writing session. If you can, please print out and bring a maximum of 5 pages from a script you’ve written. Alternatively, you can also bring 5 script pages from a film or TV show you really enjoy. We will be dissecting and discussing scripts and chatting about script brainstorming, outlines, drafts, formatting…

During this session, we will also have a check-in with the awardees from our Short Film Pitch session back in December, who will be giving us a progress update on their projects.

The SQIFF Queer Filmmakers Group is an initiative to bring local queer filmmakers together for monthly two-hour group sessions to network and support each other in the development of film projects. We aim to grow the group in the future to become a collective of queer filmmakers in Glasgow.

The group is open for any level of filmmaking or film supporting arts (acting, prop making, music and sound design…) and we really encourage people just starting out in these mediums to come along.

Supported by the National Lottery Community Fund.

Access

SQIFF has an Audience Access Fund for travel costs. Email info@sqiff.org for more information.
