SQIFF Shorts: Queer Scotland III
Sun 1 October 2017
Amber Blue CC 0enf
Presenting a selection of the exciting array of queer filmmaking happening in Scotland. A gay man drags his friend into lying to his mother with hilarious results, a Polish woman gives insights into why she had to leave her country, a mother-daughter relationship in the year 2020 proves surprising, and a bisexual woman from China explores her identity amongst the varied approaches in this showcase.
We hope to be joined by a number of the filmmakers for a Q&A.
BSL interpretation will be available for the Q&A, with audio description of the films also available ( please note a small amount of non-English dialogue will be read within AD). SQIFF 2017 tickets are priced on a sliding scale; please choose what to pay based on your circumstances. We ask that you be honest with yourself and your financial situation; we will not ask for any proof of your income. For more info on SQIFF's sliding ticket scale click here.
This programme is F-rated. Films are given an F-rating if directed by women, written by women and/or present significant female characters on screen, in their own right. f-rated.org.
