WARM Sundays: Katharine Barrington

A cure for a curse.

This WARM Sunday Katharine will take the opportunity to talk about some ongoing works that have not yet found a way to exist beyond the setting in which they are created. These works are the actions of a hopeful artist setting out into the Landscape to achieve great things.

There will also be some works on wood/paper and a couple of clay pots just in case…

Katharine lives and works mostly on the Isle of Skye with painting, text, found objects and performance.

WARM is a support network founded by and for women working as artists in Glasgow. It provides a space where women can discuss and develop their artistic practices and aims to explore ways of working that aid women and challenge the current accepted paradigm of artists working solely for their own self promotion.
